Two years after our long journey with the Suzuki LJ80, we turned the key again and headed south.
Back to mountains, dirt roads, and sleeping on the roof. This time in our new 4x4 Mitsubishi L300 — bigger, but with the same spirit. A shorter trip through the Alps, but with the same rhythm as before.
And this time, we added something new to our setup.

Cosy Night
This journey came with a new piece of gear: the Quad awning from DTBD. We didn’t have one during our year-long adventure, and honestly, we didn’t know how much comfort it adds. Suddenly, we had shade, shelter during unexpected rain, and a cozy outdoor space for cooking, sitting, and doing nothing. It took us only three minutes to set up and transformed every parking spot into a little basecamp.

Setup Packed
The Alps were the perfect testing ground. One day sunshine, the next wind and rain, then back to perfect blue skies. Hiking, swimming in freezing mountain lakes, eating incredible Italian food, and always returning to our yellow home waiting patiently for us.

All things protected against the rain
Switching from the Suzuki LJ80 to the Mitsubishi L300 didn’t change who we are as travellers. It just gave us a bit more room to live our adventures the same way: simple, slow, and off the beaten path. Same colour. Same mindset. Same love for the road.
Nice view
Our trip this time was not for a full year. It was a quick one. But we were moving again. And one thing is certain, we will be moving again soon.

New trips will come
